I follow a lot of Fitblrs. I’m also working hard to get a cute butt. However, I’m getting so annoyed with seeing all of these pictures on my dashboard of African American women and Latina women with ginormous backsides with text over them that reads, “Want this? Then work for it.” That’s like putting a text over the picture of an Irish gal and saying, “Want these freckles? Then get out in the sun.” I’m sorry, but I really doubt all of those women got those huge, beautiful butts by doing squats and lunges all day, just as those Irish gals didn’t get their freckles only by sitting in the sun all day. Genes are a huge factor! If these big-bootied women are working the hell out of their derrieres, more power too them for making their behinds rounder, firmer, and a little bit bigger! But they did not get those twenty pounds of booty meat from somethin’ other from their mamas. I’m all for pushing your body to the limit, but that isn’t mutually exclusive from having realistic expectations.
I don’t often love salads, but man, this looks like the perfect lunch after having such a hot run.
